Power sector turnover rises 9.3% in 2016

Klotz noted that, in previous years, the sector has made disbursements in the construction of factories, mainly in the North and northeast of the country. With the recession, companies initially put investment in new units, waiting for improvement in consumption scenario. Most of the contributions last year were aimed at the expansion of production lines, product development and maintenance of existing factories.

Denis Ribeiro, Director of the Economic Department of the Abia, noted that the average history of investments in the sector is r $11 billion per year.
