Audi, VW, registers and records sales surpasses Mercedes

Audi sold more than its German rival Mercedes-Benz in January, bringing deliveries in 10 percent to a record 137,700 cars, in front of strong demand in China, United States, Germany and Brazil.
The luxury Division of Volkswagen said on Monday that a strong impetus behind sales of the improved Compact A3 and TT sports renewed fed the increased volume in China and in the us on 15 percent and 14 percent, respectively.
Deliveries also jumped 14 percent in the German market, Audi's land, and 20 percent in Brazil, while retreated 13 percent in Russia, the company announced.
Mercedes unveiled last Tuesday sales record 125,865 vehicles in January, a gain of 14 percent over the previous year's levels.
