Sales of new vehicles in Brazil fall 7.6% in February

São Paulo – new vehicle sales in Brazil fell 7,6% in February compared with a year earlier, revealing a market still depressed by factors such as unemployment and high interest rates, showed data from the National Federation of distribution of motor vehicles (Fenabrave) announced on Wednesday.
The plates issued to cars, light commercials, trucks and buses totaled 135,663 units, also showing a decline of 7,84% against January, a month with more working days.
