Riograndense presents position paper of the Guaíba mill expansion

6/5/2013-cellulose Riograndense presented a Position Paper with the data and significant numbers of factory expansion project of Guaíba through the month of April. The factory is with a total investment of $ 5 billion and will produce 1.8 million tonne per year, and 100% should be marketed. The start of operations is scheduled for the beginning of 2015 and more than 20 thousand jobs will be created, directly and indirectly, benefiting 40 municipalities in the region.
According to the paper, "despite a fragile framework of advanced economies, growth is possible for Brazil to present good growth rates, as the country is increasingly connected with the performance of the emerging Asian economies, notably China. This is true, in particular, for pulp. However, the low GDP growth and concern about the growth of inflation shows that we still have a long way to go ".
The company also reported that recycles more than 99.5% of all solid waste generated in the plant, and the average volume of recycled material comes to 18 thousand tons monthly.
