Fiori will expand production of sanitaryware

The Fiori Sanitaryware will start in November, the investments of r $ 35 million to expand its monthly production capacity from the current 140 thousand pieces to 200 thousand pieces in 2016. The prediction is that, next year, the installed capacity of the company reaches 180 million pieces per month, according to the Executive Director, Paul Marcon.

Currently, the Fiori has two units in operation in Andradas (MG), with a monthly capacity of 60 thousand pieces and another 80 thousand pieces. Until early 2016, the smallest unit will operate, and the other will be increased to 200 thousand pieces per month.
Investments for capacity will be made with the company's own resources and financing from the Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES).
The Fiori is among the four largest manufacturers of sanitary wares in the country, according to Marcon. The segment is headed by Deca Division, Duratex.
The Fiori estimates Bill $ 83 million in 2013, representing 30% expansion before last year. The volume produced, 87% is targeted at building supply stores. The engineering channel accounts for 9%, and the remainder is intended for export. (CQ)
