Sale of medicines by 9% in 2017 distributors grows, says Abradilan

Sales of medicines by distributors grew 9% in the year 2017, according to data from the Brazilian Association of logistics and Distribution of pharmaceutical products (Abradilan). In the 12 months, sales of the sector came to R $5.3 billion.
The total volume of units sold reached 1 billion last year, elevation of 5.2%.
Just in the month of December, sales reached $442 million, expansion of R 6% compared to the previous year.
The entity gathers 146 distributors of medicines and toiletries and cosmetics.
According to Abradilan, 70% of the retail pharmacist is serviced by the distribution channel.
