Demand for consumer credit rose by 1.3% in July

The demand for consumer credit rose by 1.3% in July (purged the seasonal effects), according to national data from the Boa Vista SCPC (Service Central de credit protection).
Already in year-to-year evaluation, July fell to 4.3%, while in the accumulated values in 12 months (August to July 2016 2017 before the 12 months background) there was slowing the fall (0.6 percentage points ahead to June result), reaching 5.7%.
Considering the segments that make up the scorecard, in the evaluation in 12 months in financial institutions noted a retraction of 9.4%, while for the non-financial segment there was decrease of 3.2%.
