Carglass acquires automotive repair company and provides for double billing

The Carglass, the British group Belron, acquired brazilian Disk Repair, focused on automotive repair at home. The deal opens a new line of business for the company and it is the first in the management of Luiz Novaes, who assumed the presidency after the think tank of which he is a partner, Advisia, signing joint-venture with the brand in Brazil. The value of the acquisition was not revealed.
Delivery
The company will turn the Disk Repair on an additional automobile insurance coverage. The service goes to the insured and make repairs of up to 50 cm in vehicles that suffered minor bumps. Offered only in São Paulo, the service will be extended to the whole Brazil. Besides the mobile repair, the company will launch a cover for Hammer of gold and already negotiates with insurance companies. With both solutions, the Carglass expects to double your revenue in two years.
Lost time
The offensive of the brazilian subsidiary occurs after an extensive restructuring process, which left room for the next competition. The Carglass expects only the mobile repair exceeds the weight of the glass business, which in Brazil represents 60% of their revenue.
