Freudenberg adjusts strategy and projected expansion to 2017

São Paulo-Freudenberg, which operates mainly in the automotive industry in Brazil, is realigning the your strategy to continue growing. In 2017, the German Group designs grow from 1% to 3% in the country with the entry into new businesses.

Investments
In 2017, the Group foresees investments of R $27,000,000 in South America. About 80% of this amount will be destined for Brazil. "Some of the tailored projects of our customers require capital," says Bamford.
In addition, exports will help the group to reduce currency exposure and increase capacity utilisation. "About 10% of our production is destined for the countries of South America."
Bamford asserts, however, view the political scenario with caution. "Despite this, I see signs of early recovery," says. According to him, the vehicle production is already improving. "Our expectation is that we have positive industry GDP in 2017."
