Syngenta''s shareholders accept the offer of $ Chemchina bi $43

BEIJING-China National Chemical Corp (ChemChina) reported that shareholders of Swiss agribusiness giant Syngenta AG accepted the takeover bid valued at $ $43 billion. The decision paves the way for the biggest deal ever made by a Chinese company in history.
In a press release distributed this Friday, 5, ChemChina announced that holders of 80.7% of the shares of Syngenta agreed to the acquisition. The percentage is higher than the 67 percent required for the business move.
The first payout to shareholders will be made on day 18. According to the Chinese company, the transfer of control will occur on the same day. The ChemChina also reported that will take the shares of Syngenta of Switzerland and scholarships in United States as soon as the law permits.
