Luft Healthcare opens CD in Cabreúva

The Luft Healthcare, Luft Logistics segment dedicated to the care and development of specialized logistics for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and hospital, opened your new distribution center in Cabreúva, within the State of São Paulo in Brazil. The new logistic pole has more than 33000 m ² (first phase) of built area, more than 170,000 m ² of area and more than 36000 pallet positions.
The Logistics Park was developed by TRX and this unit joins the other poles of health of Luft Heathcare located in Itapevi (SP), Cabreúva (SP), Itajaí (SC), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Miami and Jacksonville (USA).
The new polo is all air-conditioned to receive pharmaceutical products, with ability to maintain indoor temperature controlled, equalized throughout the environment, to ensure the integrity of the stored products. "Working with sensitive items is challenging because it involves complex and delicate operations. Luft Healthcare Division has all the expertise, infrastructure and security necessary to store and transport its own products of pharmaceutical, cosmetic and hospital sectors, "says Fernando Luft, founding partner of Luft Logistics.
To ensure accuracy in air conditioning, glass wool was applied not only on the cover as well as on the side walls. In addition, the Luft installed over 5000 sensors that continuously monitor the temperature of the environment. Strategically positioned between the highways that connect the Sorocaba Indaiatuba and São Paulo to Campinas, meets the two major consumer markets and Brazil''s producers: the metropolitan region of São Paulo and the interior of the State. The logistic pole has the drivers support area next to the entrance, ease of loading and unloading of products. It works 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Luft Healthcare is a division that emerged from the joint expertise of two companies of Luft: Farma, created in 2000, and Luft Express, born in 2004 for distributing products to the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry. She attends more than 100 customers in the industry, as manufacturers, distributors, pharmacies and laboratories.
Focused exclusively on the healthcare market, the performance of the unit includes pallet shipments closed until fractionation with high number of SKUs, in addition to intense activity of separation and expedition, which requires great expertise in the industry.
