PET Pharmaceutical Market Grows 20%

According to data of the COMAC (pet Commission) the SINDAN, pet sector growth over the last 12 months was pharmacist of 20% and there is still room to grow. Currently, Brazil has the third world population of dogs and cats (over 70 million animals), however, the number of pets receiving veterinary care is low, about 20%. The expectation of growth for 2016 is 15%, which must be repeated in 2017. According to Leonardo Brandão, Infopet Coordinator of COMAC, that industry growth is driven by new releases product categories.
