Retail movement falls 2.1% in September, Boa Vista point SCPC

The movement of the Brazilian retail trade fell 2.1 percent in September, compared with August, the seasonal adjustments, according to data from the Boa Vista SCPC. In comparison with September last year, the decline was 2.5%. In the year, the movement backs down 3.9% and, in 12 months, falls 4.7%.
From August to September, the biggest falls occurred in sales of other retail items ( -6.5%), furniture and appliances ( -4.9%), textiles, clothing and footwear ( -1%). Sales in supermarkets had light recoil, to 0.2%, while those of fuel were stable during the period.
