Import of Oils Registers 20% drop

The moment of economic instability that undermines the Country''s modified directly the consumption habits of Brazilians, proof of this is the oil market. According to data from (Brazilian Association of producers, importers and traders of olive oil) in the first half of this year, Brazil imported about 27000 tons of the product, a fall of 20% compared to the same period in 2015, which registered 34500 tons. "Even with the current scenario the Brazilian left to consume the product, however, went on to buy less units", explains Rita Bassi, President of OLIVA.
