Kellogg will stop using artificial products in cereals and snacks

Cereals Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies from Kellogg are ready to become totally natural soon.
109-year-old company, whose grains have been a popular choice of breakfast for decades, said on Tuesday that aims to stop using dyes and artificial flavors in their brands of cereals and snacks to the end of 2018.
The largest manufacturer of cereal for breakfast in the world is the latest in a series of u.s. food companies to bow to growing pressure to remove synthetic ingredients of products due to health concerns.
The company said that 75 per cent that their cereals in North America being produced without artificial dyes, and more than half without artificial flavors.
General Mills, maker of Cheerios cereal, said in June that plans to have 90 percent of their grain free of dyes and artificial flavors in 2016, up from about of 60 percent currently.
Sales at both companies have shrunk in the USA because of the growing preference for processed food and cooked meals.
