Nokia may return to the market of mobile phones

Nokia, once the largest manufacturer of cell phones in the world, plans to begin to develop and license mobile devices again as soon as the agreement with its partner, Microsoft, let the company do in 2016, as the Executive Chairman of the firm, Rajeev Suri, the German magazine "Manager Magazin".
"Let's look for suitable partners," Suri said in an interview published last Thursday. "Microsoft manufactures mobile phones. We would just develop them and then disponibilizaríamos the brand name for licensing. "
Something similar was done in the case of tablet Nokia N1, released not long ago with Android operating system. The unit is manufactured and licensed by Taiwan's Foxconn.
Finnish Nokia sold its phone business to Microsoft in 2014 after years of falling sales to keep up with the innovations led by Apple's iPhone. Currently, the main business of the company is the production of network equipment.
