Retail pharmacist grows 10.42% in the first quarter, points Abrafarma

In the period studied, the medicines accumulated R $ 5.37 billion in sales, totaling an advancement of 8.97% as compared to the same quarter of the previous year. Generics had a breakthrough of 7.78 percent on the same basis of comparison, with a participation of 7.32% of total marketing of drugs.
The survey was conducted by the Fundação Instituto de Administração da Universidade de São Paulo (FIA-USP), which also indicated more than 515 million units sold between January and March.
