Salinas group invests in World Cup

Different sectors of Brazil are preparing to receive the largest Football League in the world, the World Cup, which will move all over the country. A sector in particular expects significant growth: cachaça, too consumed in Brazil and appreciated by foreigners. To meet this demand the Salinas Group, specializes in artisanal cachaças located in Minas Gerais, prepares for a few months. "A World Cup in our country will make the crowd is more euphoric, cheerful, relaxed, which of course will result in an increase of consumption of all drinks," explains Thiago Medrado, commercial Director of the company. "In addition, we have the public abroad to come wanting to meet our famous caipirinha, a drink that is in evidence on the world stage", he adds. Also looking for the tourists, the group released the CaipiSalinas Kit, consisting of a bottle of cachaça Salinas Mix, Cup and macerador, with bilingual sayings. "As a Brazilian cultural memory, because the booze is part of our culture," concludes the Director, who expects a 20% growth in sales of cachaça, brand of the World Cup.
Among the products manufactured and marketed by the Group's traditional Cachaça Salinas just won gold medal at the Concours Mondial Spirits Selection 2014, one of the biggest international competitions of distillates, which happened last weekend in Florianopolis. Was the only representative of the Geographic Identification (IG) of Salinas, contending with more than 200 of the best brands of cachaça.
