Home Rex redraws Chinese supplement packaging

The Rex, Home design agency with offices in São Paulo and London, developed the redesign of Wyeth Gold packaging line, a children's nutritional supplement of China. Showing to its consumers a new formula and integrated system of benefits, the brand needed to modernize its image.
The previous package (below) has not reached consumers in the way you want, since it does not effectively communicated the benefits of the product. The main icon, the flower, which depicts key product benefits, had little prominence in the Pack and was not integrated with the main attributes, which were presented in a simple list of information.
To convey the brand's expertise and the new updated product formula, Casa Rex created a new integrated design framework and reintroduced the main elements of the iconic brand, now expressed by a new contemporary aesthetics.
"The package introduces new 3D finishes, aligning to local Visual codes, while the flower icon and product information texts make a most prominent appeal, surrounded by a new Golden wave that integrates its benefits in a unified visual structure, creating a more engaging benefits to consumers," explains Gustavo Piqueira, owner of Casa Rex and Creative Director of the project.
