Stick deodorant sticks to QR code

The TCCD International recently reformulated its line of deodorants GeoDeo, promoting changes in the presentation of the products. In an effort to strengthen relations with the public more connected to technology, the company has decided to incorporate a two-dimensional QR code type code on the packaging of the brand.
Reading the codes through smartphones provides access to information about each of the ingredients listed on the label of products. It would be a way to strengthen the communication that the formulas do not contain chemical substances – something unusual for type stick deodorants.
"We knew that the use of a QR code would make sense for our consumer, that he would like to have the information easily accessible," says Kristi Moe, Director of marketing at GeoDeo. The Executive says he has seen consumers with long time to read labels on natural products sections.
"We have created an infographic that highlights the most important information of each ingredient," says Kristi. "So if a consumer scans the code while you are in the store, you can quickly learn everything you need before you decide to purchase."
