Nissan electric car factory in the studied River

Sao Paulo-the World President of Renault/Nissan, Carlos Ghosn, signs on Tuesday, 17, with the Government of Rio de Janeiro a memorandum of understanding for the feasibility study of a factory of electric cars in the State.
If confirmed the project, the model tipped to be developed in the new plant is the Nissan Leaf, which has some units circulating as experimental way taxi in the city of São Paulo.

On Monday, 17, Ghosn met with a group of businessmen at the Federation of industries of the State of Paraná (Fiep) and did not want to comment on the signing of the Protocol, which has already been confirmed by the State Government of Rio de Janeiro.
The denial of Ghosn contradicts a government publication fluminense which cites the creation of GT group electric vehicles, which assesses a propitious area for factory installation, in addition to the information disseminated by the Secretariat. Investments in the future unit should turn around r $ 400 million.
