Daily average of 8.4% advances sales in June

Plates issued data of light vehicles (cars and utilities) of Renavam in the first 10 days of June, considering the licensing until last Friday, day 14, indicate that the average daily sales grew 8.4% this month to 15.5 thousand per day, compared with 14.3 million in the same period from May. The calculation was made by consultant Julian Semple, of Carcon Automotive.
In total, were got their plates in this first half of June 155.3 million light vehicles. Semple estimated that June should close with 315 thousand cars and SUVs sold. "Despite June a working day unless may, sales tend to grow 5% over the past month, but will fall to 7.4% compared to June 2012," says. This decline over the same month of last year can be explained by the adoption of the IPI discount, which the Government announced in May and heated the market.
At the end of the first half of 2013, the expectation is for growth over the past year, in line with the predictions of Anfavea, the manufacturers ' Association. "In confirming the June forecast, year to date we will reach 1.72 million light vehicles got their plates, an increase of 5.4% over the first half of 2012", calculates Semple.
The Fenabrave, the entity should disclose, on Tuesday, 18, the first two weeks of June on the basis of 11 working days, as usual.
