Cachaça Yaguara hits the market in striking bottle

Hits the market the Yaguara, first white rum, blended, and the organic world, in bottle superpremium. The drink, produced in Ivoti (RS), is the fruit of a partnership between entrepreneurs Thyrso de Camargo Neto and Hamilton Lowe. Brazilian chemist Erwin Weimann is the "blender" the new rum.
The goal is to win the foreign market Yaguara from 2014. "Produce rum in Brazil for almost 500 years. So, to create the Yaguara was important to incorporate that history and that knowledge and at the same time reflect the modern Brazil ", says Weimann. This marriage between tradition and modernity translates into the bottle, designed to stand out on shelves of bars around the world. The bottle and the logo were created by renowned British artist Brian Clarke, the leading glass artist in the world. The design is inspired by the Copacabana Boardwalk mosaic, designed by Roberto Burle Marx.
"From the beginning we knew that it was important to involve bartenders in various parts of the world so they can help us to develop the category," explains Hamilton Lowe one of the founders of the company. "For this, we are working closely with the main Brazilian bartender, Marcio Silva, and with key bartenders in New York, Tokyo, London and Paris," he adds.
Cachaça Yaguara is thrown with exclusivity in Brazil and will be presented to other markets from 2014.
The product will be available in restaurants and bars in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, plus some selected retail outlets. The 750 ml bottle will be sold at a price between 85 and 95 dollars at retail.
