Smartphone sales should fall 2.4%

For 2019, the forecast is that smartphone sales decrease 2.4% in Brazil, to 43,380,000 units. However, the revenue should grow by 12%, to R $59.6 billion. The survey was carried out by the market research company IDC. Still according to the study, in the first quarter, sales of smart phones in Brazil fell 6% over the same period of 2018, to 10.7 million units. The revenues, however, rose 8% in the period, to R $13.7 billion.
