Marfrig Wants $ $3 Bi by sale of Keystone

The proposals for the purchase of the unit of Keystone Foods-specializing in food supply to restaurants, Marfrig, should be delivered by the end of this month. The Marfrig acquired Keystone eight years ago for $ $1.26 billion and aims to get $ $3 billion with the sale. Most of the companies selected by Marfrig are of Chinese origin. The COFCO, China Investment, and Fosun compete with Cargill and Tyson Foods for participating in Keystone.
