Anfavea revises forecast for vehicle production high of 21.5% to 25.2%

SAO PAULO-the National Association of Automotive vehicle manufacturers (Anfavea), an organization that represents automakers installed in Brazil, revised upwards the forecast production of your vehicles in 2017, 21.5% for high expansion of 25.2%. In units manufactured, the projection jumped to 2.7 million in 2,619,000 sum that considers cars, light commercials, trucks and buses. Last year, the industry produced 2,157,000 units.

The improved forecast for the market just to the performance of the light vehicle segment. The projection for light jumped 4% advance to 7.4% in 2017, to 2,136,000 units, while the estimate for heavy fell 6.4% to feed expansion of 3.6 percent, to 64000 units.
In addition, the Anfavea revised the projection to exports of vehicles this year, 35.6% advance to 43.3%. In units, the estimate jumped from 705,000 to 745,000 units units.
Agricultural and road machines
The Association revised down to your sales forecast of farm machinery and road in 2017, 13.2% for high expansion of 6.9%. In units, the projection fell 49500 to 46700. In 2016, 43700 sold agricultural machinery and roads.
On the other hand, was revised upwards the forecast for exports, 6 percent advance to 34.6%. In units, the estimate jumped to 10200 to 12900. Last year, 9600 units were exported.
The expectation for the production was maintained in growth of 10.4%, 59600 units. In 2016, were produced agricultural machinery and road 54000.
