Supermarkets record growth in the total number of jobs in may

Among the nine activities surveyed, only pharmacies and perfumeries (2.3%) and supermarkets (1.4%) showed growth in the total number of jobs in comparison with the same month of 2016. On the other hand, the worst performances were recorded in the segments of car dealerships (-4.1%), construction materials (-3.2%) and furniture and furnishings (-2.7%).
Watching the data for occupations, the functions with the highest negative balances were the managers of support areas (-578 jobs) and production and operations managers (-344 jobs).
