Online retail registers 1.07% fall in prices in June over may

SÃO PAULO-products sold on the internet recorded a fall of 1.07% in average prices in June compared to the checked in may, the inflation indicator of the Brazilian Institute of Retail executives and Consumer Market (Ibevar) and the Retail Management program (Prove). Among the ten categories surveyed, five had fall in prices on the shore: Appliances (-1.97%), CD''s and DVD''s (3.63%), books-(-3.35%), perfumery and cosmetics (-5.00%) and electronics (-5.76%).
Already the Cine and photo (9.56%), toys (1.71%), computers (0.83%), Medicines (1.87%) and telephony and cell phones (2.13%) recorded price rise.
In assessing the cumulative 12 months, the June indicator pointed 1.06% deflation, with 0.37 percentage point decline compared to the registered in the previous month and 14.22 points lower at cumulative percentages and 12 months of the same month last year.
In relation to the cumulative, from January to June 2017, Ibevar points out that online prices fell 0.19 percent on the equivalent period of 2016, representing a decline of 1.08 percentage point before the accumulated until May and 7.61 indentation percentage points over the same period last year.
