Even the winter will help the retailer to sell more

São Paulo-Not the arrival of winter, which began at the end of last month, must encourage the trade to sell more in July. According to estimation of the São Paulo commercial Association, the consumer follows afraid, the sales indicator should remain stagnant.
Despite the perception that sales will increase, the organisation points out that, at least, the sales volume is no longer falling, which is a boost to the sector. "The good news is that, after two years experiencing crashes, there is no reason for the scenario worse next month," says Alencar Burti, President of ACSP and the Federation of trade associations in the State of São Paulo (Facesp).
Even with that the impact is barely noticeable in the month of July, the President of the entity believes that the intensity of the cold during the winter may have some kind of effect on sales for the following months. This greater provision, however, still depends on the vision of Burti, of greater stability in the political sphere. "The recession may even have fallen behind, but the political environment need to work for the resumption of consumer confidence".
