Slower sales of grains can delay delivery of inputs, Andav alert

The slower pace of commercialization of grains this year may cause a logistical bottleneck and delay the delivery of supplies for planting the next crop. The alert is the National Association of Agricultural and veterinary Supplies distributors (Andav), which brings together resellers of seeds, fertilizers and pesticides in Brazil.

With the depreciation of agricultural commodities, such as soybeans, amid strong growth in production, the farmer is not only sold the current crop at less than last.
