Slower sales of grains can delay delivery of inputs, Andav alert

The slower pace of commercialization of grains this year may cause a logistical bottleneck and delay the delivery of supplies for planting the next crop. The alert is the National Association of Agricultural and veterinary Supplies distributors (Andav), which brings together resellers of seeds, fertilizers and pesticides in Brazil.
"If there''s a problem, it won''t be. Product is not going to miss, but delivery may be impaired at the time of planting. The demand for inputs is suppressed and the producer should be set to avoid delay, "the Chief Executive of Andav, Henry Mazotini.
With the depreciation of agricultural commodities, such as soybeans, amid strong growth in production, the farmer is not only sold the current crop at less than last. The early involvement of next crop production is also slower. More recently, the high-dollar spurred the trip to the market, but consultants evaluate which was not sufucente to bring significant change.
