Körber group, owner of Fabio Perini completes acquisition of MTC

MTC develops, manufactures and sells interfolhadeiras lines, which is regarded as a global leader in technology – as well as lines of conversion of napkins. The objective of the acquisition is to expand the tissue-paper business area of the Körber Group. The business area offers end-to-end solutions for hydraulic press brakes and packaging, as well as equipment for toilet paper and paper towels.
With the acquisition, the Körber aims to expand the offerings to its customers.
MTC lines are used for folding and packaging tissue-paper products like face scarves, towels, toilet paper and napkins. The company has a solid history as a technology leader, having introduced innovations such as the internal folding system with only a passing role in their internal mandrel vacuum multidobras.
MTC employs about 60 people. Within the business area of tissue of Körber, MTC will collaborate closely with the Fabio Perini S.p.a, which is also located in Lucca, Italy.
