Frimesa should invest 2.5 billion R$ in the production chain until 2030

To invest 2.5 billion Frimesa designs R$ throughout the production chain until 2030 to boost growth and to become a reference in swine production in the country. The investment involves producers, cooperatives and integrated Central Frimesa itself.
The high point of this movement is the construction of the biggest fridge of pork in the country. Will be 141,000 square meters of built area on a plot of 115 hectares in the city of Assis Chateaubriand, Paraná. The first stage will be completed in 2018, generating 3500 direct jobs. The completion of the complex is planned for 2025 and, until then, other 2000 workstations must be opened. The total investment in the project will be of R$ 800 million.
"This project will empower the presence and quality of pork in the Brazilian market, encouraging not only cooperatives affiliated to Frimesa, but the segment as a whole", says José Elias Zydek, Frimesa''s Executive Director.
