Innovative packaging concept is launched in the marvelous city

In addition to the phenomenal athletes, of broken records and almost 2,000,000 tourists from Brazil and the world, the Rio de Janeiro witnessed this season of Olympics and Paralympics the launch of an innovative concept: the Proteo, a unique form of packaging sachet of 50 ml transportable developed in Brazil by the American giant Aptar. The wonderful city served as the setting for the test launch of the product, the retail industry and designed to meet varying categories of personal care products. The focus is to serve consumers who are looking for comfort, living daily the trend "on me".
Modern, flat and with a nice design, the Protection can be taken anywhere, besides being easy to open and close thanks to dispensing cover format. It is ideal to optimize consumer buying experience and accelerate the growth and revenue of the mark, since the format allows exclusive promotional options, including buying points, sampling and merchandising. The packaging has great flat space for art, providing emphasis to the brand and the instructional communication.
By being flexible, fits tight spaces and allows for easy and complete emptying most valuable products such as sunscreens. Also because of the flexibility, the whole supply chain is impacted in a sustainable way, because it has less storage space (decreasing storage costs) and reduction of the weight of packaging – which limits the shipping costs. Another important factor is the reduction of the carbon footprint throughout the life cycle of products.
"The Proteo has been very well accepted, mainly because it is lightweight, flexible and easy to be stored. Is a product to be loaded in all circumstances because it allows easy access and full use of the total content of the product available on the packaging, "says Balbir Orpinelli, market development coordinator Aptar.
