Global sales of mobile phones should be smaller this year

Global sales of smartphones should submit only single-digit growth for the first time in history in 2016, while the personal computer should fall, estimates Gartner research.
The forecast is that sales of smartphones to grow 7% to 1.5 billion units in 2016 due to stable sales in China and North America. "The era of double-digit growth for the global smartphone market came to an end," said Research Director Ranjit Atwal in the report "Devices", Gartner Forecast. The company expects global sales of personal computers fall 1.5% before 2015, before returning to grow from next year.
In Brazil, the quarterly report from the GfK based on actual sales of durable goods in the country shows that the mobile devices segment and fixed was the only positive results in 2015, the year when the industry suffered losses of durable goods order of 16.3%. National sales of telecommunications to the final consumer items totaled R$ 37.6 billion in 2015, registering growth of turnover of 0.7% over the previous year.
