Actual sales of supermarkets rise 5% in November, points Open

Supermarket sales rose 5% in Brazilian real values in the comparison between the month of November and the same period last year, according to the Brazilian Association of Supermarkets (Open).
Compared to October, was recorded a drop of 0.23%. The accumulated from January to November, sales had real high of 1.51%, better than the initially planned by the Association.
Second Márcio Milan, many people are leaving their Christmas shopping to the last minute waiting for promotions. Because of this, the Open is reviewing its projection for the sector in 2016. The expectation now is that there is more than 1% on the year, against a projection near 1% made earlier.
