McShake Ovaltine helps McDonald''s to earn more in Brazil

São Paulo – Arcos Dorados, the largest franchise of McDonald''s in the world, on Wednesday released the results of its operation in Brazil for the third quarter of the year.
The ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) of the company grew by almost 50% over the same period last year in dollars.
Between July and September, McDonald''s in Brazil made 357 million dollars, 14.5% higher compared to the same quarter of 2015.
According to the company, marketing campaigns and enhanced line of desserts, such as the release of McShake Ovaltine and the McFlurry Kit Kat, contributed to the good result.
For Paulo Calderon, President of the Brazil Division of Arcos Dorados, facing a very challenging external scenario, the results were good in the country.
"As leaders, we focused on the needs of consumers, offering them what they like best: a fair value equation, with high quality products and innovative experiences," said the Executive.
