Sales recovery

Retail sales of building material grew 6% in June in comparison with the month of may, according to data from Anamaco, the industry association. Already in June 2015 relationship on June 2014, the performance was 10% higher. The increase occurred in all regions of the country, especially the South (12%) and the Northeast (9%). According to the survey, shops of all sizes showed a recovery in sales in June, but the volume was higher in medium-sized establishments. Among the categories surveyed, the highlights were for sanitaryware and sanitary metals, high sales of 6% each. Locks and hardware and fiber cement shingles had 5% higher performance inks (4%), and ceramic coatings and cements were stable during the period.
