Production of beer grows 5.5% in may

According to the report released by the CervBrasil (Brazilian Association of the industry of Beer), the production of the drink in the Country registered in may production of 973.3 million liters, representing an increase of 5.5% compared to April. In comparison with may of last year, however, there was a fall of 12.8%.
For the CervBrasil, high compared to April was reflection of warmer weather of autumn. But, to the Association, it didn't mean a beginning of recovery in the sector.
The CervBrasil reported in a report that the industry has benefited from a below-average inflation of the IPCA (Broad consumer price index). The accumulated from January to may, the IPCA accumulated high of 5.3%. Inflation, in turn, registers high 3.6% accumulated.
