Hemmer search expansion in North and Northeast

The Food, family company Hemmer Blumenau (SC) that produces canned foods, completes 100 years in 2015 with the goal to expand its international operation. In Brazil, the company plans to expand operations in the Northeast and North.
The company is the first in Brazil in the segment of canned hearts of Palm, where the biggest demand is concentrated in the Southeast and South, but the company assesses that there is potential for growth in the North and northeast of the country.
The Hemmer Foods closed last year with revenue of $ 175 million, 21.6% above the result obtained in 2013. The result was below the average of the four previous years, growth of 25% per year.
