Used trucks market suffers from stagnation

In addition to the current scenario of little demand for shipping, the Director-Secretary of the Union of cargo transportation companies of the State of Minas Gerais (Setcemg), Juliana Vieira Martins, also highlights that the market for used trucks is bad because many carriers put vehicles for sale to repay loans made to expansion and modernisation of the fleet. "I don't have transport demand. So, there's no demand to buy these vehicles, "he emphasizes. "At the beginning of the year, the expectation was that the country was ' running ' least until the World Cup and then got better, but the opposite is happening, and the demand is falling even more," adds the Director of Setcemg.
