Southeast leads generic consumption

Representing 34.76% of total sales, the State of Minas Gerais is Brazil which consumes more generic drugs, followed by Rio Grande do Sul, with 33.66%, according to a study of the Brazilian Association of generic drug Industries (For generics). Comparing the total numbers of States by regions, the Southeast is the only presence above the national average in use of generics (27.5%), with indexes of consumption in order to 29.72%. Second place went to the southern region, with 28.09%.
