Drops the number of consumers who will present on mother's day

The total of paulistanos who buy gift for mother's day this year is less than last year, according to a survey of the Federation of trade in goods, services and tourism of the State of São Paulo (Fecomercio-SP).
This year, 61.6% of them plan to go shopping for the date-the second most important for retailers after Christmas this year-against 63.6% in 2013.
The organisation points out that 58% of consumers would be willing to give the mother after Sunday, when the date is celebrated, they sure would trade promotions.

The survey also highlights that the garments leading purchase intentions (32%), followed by perfumes and cosmetics (12.4%), household appliances (10.7%), cell phones (5.5%), TV and sound (2.7%), flowers (2.5%) and esthetic treatment (1.6%).
Most consumers (72%) intends to pay cash, both in money and in check or debit card. Other 21.2% must choose to parcel out the purchase on a credit card, and 2.3%, through bonds and bills.
