Tetra Pak Brazil grossed R $ 4.6 billion in 2013

Tetra Pak announced net sales of approximately € 11.1 billion in 2013, representing an increase of 3.5% in comparison with 2012. "The combination of an increasingly strong with the economy weakened in many markets around the globe has created a very difficult business environment for Tetra Pak in 2013," says the President and CEO of Tetra Pak Dennis Jönsson. "Even so, we were able to grow in all business areas, with emphasis on processing solutions, equipment sales and technical services", he adds.
As well as the overall operation, the Tetra Pak in Brazil registered positive results in 2013. The company grossed about $ 4.6 billion last year, a growth of 7% for 2012. In all, during the period, the Brazilian operation sold more than 13 billion packages, with emphasis on the area of beverages, which grew 20% driven by category of 100% juices (increase of 31%).
The good moment of the company on domestic soil was also driven by the greater supply of technical services in the areas of packaging and processing, as well as sales of equipment, strengthening Tetra Pak's strategy as a supplier of complete solutions that guarantee maximum productivity for the food industry.
