Sugar bread recipe is close to $ 15 billion in quarter

SÃO PAULO-consolidated net revenue of the Grupo Pão de Açúcar (GPA) reached r $ 14,97 billion in the first quarter of 2014, an increase of 11.9% in comparison with the same period last year.
GPA revenue climbed 11.4% Food on the same basis of comparison, passing for R $ 8.22 billion in the three months to March. Within the segment, revenues Extra flags and Sugar Loaf (Pão de Açúcar) rose 5.2% and the self-service wholesale grew 40.4 percent.
The net revenue of the Retail had elevation of 5.8%, to $ 5.44 billion in the quarter, while the New Dot-com subsidiary grew 52.6%, to r $ 1.3 billion.
The consolidated net revenue growth by "same stores" of establishments open for at least 12 months, went from 7.5% in the quarter, with high of 5.3% on food and non-food 9.2%.
The breakthrough, by business unit, same store sales was 4.7% to 52.6% of the food GPA New Dotcom and 3.8% of Via retail.
