Brazil must win 103 more malls until 2017

In the next four years, 103 new malls should be inaugurated in Brazil. That's what indicates the Cadastre 2014 Shopping, IBOPE Intelligence tool that gathers information about the Mall in the country. If all are in fact inaugurated and keep your current project, there will be an increase of approximately 2.89 million m² of gross commercial area (ABC) in Brazil, which will lead the industry to a growth of 24% at the end of that period. The Southeast is the region that must receive more enterprises: 44 in total. In the Northeast should be opened 24 malls, in the South, 16, in the North, 11, and in the Midwest, 8.
For shopping, the past year was the period with the largest number of openings: 36, average, approximately, a shopping centre opened every two weeks. In this way, the Brazil ended the year with 459 enterprises in operation.
