Nokia bet on camera improves Lumia to overcome low budget

Nokia must launch a new smartphone with 41 megapixel camera on Thursday, betting on advanced optics to compensate for scarce marketing resources and limited telephony applications.
Analysts, however, are skeptical that a new camera for the smartphone Lumia will be enough for the Finnish company recover market share lost to rivals Samsung and Apple.
Many of them said that Nokia needs a more aggressive marketing to your appliances--a difficult challenge because of its dwindling cash reserves, after years of weak sales and the decision this month to buy Siemens's share in their joint venture.
Hired in 2010 to boost the former leader in cell phones, Stephen Elop, Chief Executive of Nokia, staked the company's future on smartphones with the Microsoft operating system Windows Phone.
Despite the simpler devices still represent the majority of Nokia's handset sales, smartphones are seen as crucial to their survival because of its banks and the growing demand for Internet access and the tendency of consumers to opt for cheaper models, made by Asian manufacturers.
The new phone unveiled on Thursday will be the most advanced of Lumia. Nokia already has a camera of megapixel 41 808 PureView model, but the model runs on the Symbian platform, which will be eliminated.
