Manufacture of vehicles recedes 2.9% in may, IBGE

Motor vehicle production fell 2.9% in April to may pass, discounting the seasonal effects, reported on Tuesday the Monthly Industrial Survey-Physical Production (PIM-PF), released by the Brazilian Institute of geography and statistics (IBGE).
In comparison with may 2012, an increase of 11.7%. According to the IBGE, the high comparison basis that segment occurred with the increase in production of trucks, cars, freight vehicles and truck-tractor.
Year to date through may, the manufacturing of motor vehicles grew by 14.3%, the best result among the 27 branches observed by IBGE.
Already in in 12 months ended may, the production of motor vehicles fell 1.4%.
