MegaMatte launches organic mate tea in Tetra Pak containers

With the new distribution strategy, the company has increased by almost 500% the production of organic mate
The MegaMatte, franchise network focused on healthier food, takes advantage of the participation in the 22nd Edition of the ABF EXPO 2013, which takes place between 12 and 15 June in São Paulo, to present to the market the Tetra Pak packaging of organic mate.
Already available in stores, consumers will find the drink in Tetra Pak packaging of 250 ml and 1 litre in natural flavor. The big news is that these packages will also be sold in traditional retail. "This was a demand of our consumer," explains Fatima Rocha, Executive Director of MegaMatte. "Due to energy and organic characteristics of our mate, people wanted to take it for consumption during physical activities and on other occasions outside our shop," he adds.
Mate tea, sold in stores, is handcrafted in each unit, as industrial production is carried out in partnership with a supplier. One of the main advantages of the package is to keep the nutritional characteristics of the product for a longer time, assuring the quality that both pleases the consumer.
According to Fatima, the strategy and the development of these new products follow the same assumptions of all MegaMatte products. "We chose the Tetra Pak, because it was not necessary to add artificial preservatives to kill, in addition to being a fully recyclable packaging," says, adding that besides ecologically correct, the packaging is practical and facilitates the distribution and displacement by the units of the network and other outlets.
In this way, the consumer is guaranteed to get a genuinely healthy and tasty product, with the advantage of greater durability and can be used everywhere and be maintained for much longer.
