H.B. Fuller buys Plexbond

H.B. Fuller Company announced the purchase of the Chemical Plexbond S/A (Plex). According to a statement by H.B. Fuller, the unification with the Plex will strengthen the company's global leadership position in the industry of adhesives, "particularly in markets known as Non Woven, Packaging and Assembly", increasing the presence on the market of flexible packaging, polyester resins, special footwear and foams.
The value of the deal wasn't disclosed by the companies.
