With the forecast of investments of more than $ 6 billion and the opening of five thousand new jobs in the region, will be installed today ' Automotive Cluster of Cavite. Four major companies in the sector will be gathered in the contract: MAN Latin America, Michelin, Nissan and PSA Peugeot Citroën, besides the participation of the regional representation of the Federation of industries of Rio de Janeiro (Firjan).
A cluster is characterized by the concentration of similar companies, which are located in the same region. The idea is that from the installation of the conglomerate, other companies in the South of Rio de Janeiro will be part of the group, which will deal with four themes considered fundamental to the growth of the sector in the region: energy, transportation, telecommunications and labor.

New companies
Under construction in Resende, Nissan invested r $ 2.6 billion in its new plant. The goal is to produce 200 thousand cars per year. The development will generate two thousand direct and indirect jobs.
In the wake of Nissan, will reach about 30 companies of auto parts to the region. Have announced investments of r $ 300 million: Mitsui Steel (coils), Yorozu (suspension), Tachi-S (banks), Kinugawa Rubber (door sealing strips), Calsonickansei (leakage) and Faurecia (which manufactures the inside of the door).
